  •  What the future holds

Naturally, younger young people do no longer play with clay dolls in India any extra or enhance their properties at some point of janmashtami or Christmas. Decorative objects have misplaced their attraction as ethnic crafts, however these with a utilitarian value, are desired today. The significance of such a craft has more and more long gone down, with households of potters having dispersed to different components of India. By a tough estimate, with about 300 peculiar standard potters/sculptors closing in and round Krishnanagar, it is a death art, which wants to be revived with current graph inputs, infusion of capital and greater exposure.
